Are you just a girl from Kansas...or are you more?
Emerald City, an all new reimagining of the classic Wizard of Oz tale is coming to NBC this January.
From recent trailers and TV spots, it looks like the series is a mashup between Game of Thrones and The Chronicles of Narnia with some extra fantasy elements tossed in.
The latest TV Spot questions Dorothy's true identity and what her purpose is in OZ.
As you can see Daredevil's Vincent D’Onofrio’s is playing the role of The Wizard of Oz, and is described as “a man of science in a world of magic, the Wizard rules through inspiration, fear and a tenuous accord with the grand witches.
It looks like Dorothy has a much bigger and more heroic role to play in this explosive adaptation of L. Frank Baum's original children's tales.
