We already know that The Winds of Winter, the sixth book in the A Song of Ice and Fire, won't be published before the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 6. Author George R.R. Martin has a reputation for missing deadlines, after all, but if he's not finishing the book then what is he doing?
Conan O'Brien decided to investigate the matter, and broke into Martin's home security to see what he was up to. Turns out he's out and about, racing go-kart, breaking piñatas, and even robbing liquor stores. He's basically doing pretty much anything but writing the book.
Obviously this is all in good fun. As Martin explained on his blog recently, he dropped pretty much everything else in an attempt to complete The Winds of Winter ahead of Game of Thrones Season 6, but writing can be an arduous process, and Martin wasn't able to meet the deadline.
Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere April 24 on HBO.
