Kong: Skull Island made quite an impact with its debut trailer, but it wasn’t that long ago that another legendary monster was making his presence felt on audiences everywhere. A new fan trailer pits the two titans against each other, and it succeeds in getting you amped for their feature film throwdown in 2020.

YouTube user Max Shevchuk took footage from Gareth Edwards Godzilla reboot and merged it with the footage seen in the newest trailers for Kong: Skull Island. The tension is palpable throughout, you can’t help but get excited to see these two monstrosities clash. That pulsing soundtrack doesn’t hurt either.

Before the two icons meet in Godzilla vs. Kong, the world needs a reintroduction to the King. Skull Island is a dangerous place, even for its ruler, and he’s going to get plenty of practice before his showdown with Godzilla.
