The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child twitter account has revealed a new photo from the first preview performance of the play's second part. The photo shows Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley, and Alex Price as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malfoy respectively.

The photo follows the photo release yesterday from the first preview performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Part 1. That photo showed Hogwarts set, complete with banners for Houses Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw and the spotlight on Cherrelle Skeete as Rose Granger-Weasley, the daughter of Ron and Hermione Granger.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the official eighth story in the Harry Potter series, based on a story by Jack Thorne, John Tiffany, and Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling. Here's the official synopsis for the show:

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

While preview performances are now taking place, the two-part play will officially open in the palace Theatre London on July 30, 2016. The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Official Script Book: Special Rehearsal Edition will be published on July 31, 2016.
