Congratulations are in order for one of the stars of The Walking Dead and her husband. Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha on The Walking Dead, is expecting her first child with her husband, actor Kenric Green.

The news was first confirmed to People by Sonequa's rep, and then confirmed on Twitter by Sonequa herself. In a tweet linking to the People article, Sonequa wrote, "Sorry I've been MIA lately guys, got a lot going on. I have BIG news...!" The baby has also been confirmed to be a baby boy.

So what does this mean for Sonequa's character Sasha on The Walking Dead? Well, given that The Walking Dead Season 5 will likely wrap in late October or early November, it's likely that Sonequa will finish filming her scenes before her pregnancy becomes obvious enough that writers would have to figure out a way to explain it. That's of course assuming Sasha is still alive at this point on The Walking Dead, which can always be a question with the series.

The Walking Dead Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, October 12 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
