San Diego Comic Con is now in full swing and Kevin Smith is hosting IMDB.com’s interviews and it looks like he’s having the time of his life, geeking out and having fun. But today, Smith got to have his hero, ‘Stan the Man’ Lee read a scene from his upcoming film – the sequel to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.
In a facebook post back in February Smith described it as “a fun flick in which the Jersey boys have to go back to Hollywood to stop a brand new reboot of the old “Bluntman & Chronic Movie” they hated so much. It’s a tongue-in-cheek, silly-ass satire that pokes fun at the movie business’s recent re-do obsession, featuring an all-star cast of cameos and familiar faces!”

As we find out in the video one of the all-star cast is Stan Lee. No word if he’ll once again wax poetically about love and life, like he did in Mallrats but I’m about as excited as Smith is to hear this news.
But until then we get to watch Kevin Smith try to direct Stan Lee on being “Stan Lee” – asking Silent Bob how to get to Comic-Con. Let’s just say, it goes hilariously.
“Trust me, I’ll write you some more lines!”
Kevin Smith is a big fan of Comicbook.com, so if you’re reading, this Kevin – HI!
