A leaked cut of footage apparently for an unnamed, unannounced Star Wars Real Time Strategy game has surfaced. The footage, already pulled from its original host on Vimeo, was posted by a reputable source: former EA audio director Elise Baldwin, who said she was working on the game – though she didn’t specify whether it was at EA or not.

There are several known games being developed at EA in the Star Wars family, with FPS and a pair of Action-Adventure games in that group. No RTS has been announced, but EA did revive the Battlefront franchise, so it’s not too much of a stretch for them to also revive Empire at War.
The RTS footage shows original trilogy-era troops from the Rebel Alliance and the Empire alike. There are AT-ST walkers, stormtroopers, X-wings, TIE fighters, and even Luke Skywalker boosting and commanding Rebel troops. It was spotted by Nerdleaks.
No word or comment has been issued by EA on the apparent leak (or highly sophisticated fake), but EA does plan to release a Star Wars game every year for the next several.
