Despite Lucasfilm remaining pretty tight-lipped about what the world of Star Wars could hold after the previously announced films get released, that hasn’t stopped fans from flexing their creative muscles to show the studio what they hope to see. Many fans have expressed how much they’d like to see a spin-off film focusing on the adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi, with one fan going so far as to create a poster that highlights a film genre and some of the cast and crew they’d like to see involved.

The artist, Tom Lathom-Sharp, conveys a Western theme with the poster, paying homage to filmmaker Sergio Leone’s Spaghetti Westerns.

Lathom-Sharp included his “dream cast” in the project, incorporating Joel Edgerton as the second-billed performer. In Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, Edgerton played Owen Lars, a close friend of Kenobi’s who became the guardian of Luke Skywalker when the child went into hiding to avoid Darth Vader.

Another familiar figure in the fan film is Liam Neeson, who may have died in The Phantom Menace, but would probably have been shown as Force Ghost or been seen in flashback sequences. Additionally, Lathom-Sharp has thrown Tim Roth and Alison Williams into the fold.

The theoretical talent extends to behind the camera, with Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller supposedly helming the action-adventure. Were that the case, the film would feature full-throttle action, a far cry from the style of the Spaghetti Western poster. The film would be written by Taylor Sheridan, writer of last year’s Western Hell or High Water, a compelling blend of humor and hopelessness that followed two bank-robbing brothers.

Admittedly, none of the above information is real, but it shows just how invested fans are in seeing a Kenobi-themed spin-off film.

When Disney originally acquired Lucasfilm, plans included three episodic installments in addition to the spin-off films Rogue One and an as-yet-untitled Han Solo-based film.

As we get closer to these films finally being released, it’s anyone’s guess what the next films in the franchise could be, but an Obi-Wan solo film is totally likely.

Han Solo releases in theaters on May 25, 2018.
