Tonight is a huge night for all Star Wars fans, as not only do we get an all-new trailer for the upcoming The Last Jedi, but tickets for the film officially go on sale. Many fans might have already picked out which theater they'll go to for the film's debut, but if you're not sure where to purchase your tickets, multiple different theater chains and ticket vendors offer collectibles and offers to help you get the most bang for your buck.
No matter where you plan to see The Last Jedi, exhibitors have got you covered, as StarWars.com has released the details of all various promotions celebrating the release.
In addition to the film opening up on Thursday, December 14 for 7:00 PM screenings, various theaters will also be hosting double features of The Last Jedi with The Force Awakens that evening. Devout fans will also be able to attend marathons of all eight films, which will include "exclusive content, Star Wars collectible cards, and a special concession offer. Plus, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will start at 6 p.m. local time, one hour earlier than regular public show times."
If you attend an IMAX screening of The Last Jedi at AMC theaters on Sundays from December 17 – January 7, you will receive an exclusive print from artist Dan Mumford, while supplies last. Each week, a new poster will be revealed.
If you'd rather attend IMAX screenings on a Saturday at participating Regal theaters from December 16 – December 30, the first 500 guests will receive an exclusive collectible ticket featuring unique art, while supplies last. Each week, new artwork will be revealed.
Attending a Cinemark location to see The Last Jedi allows Connections loyalty members to unlock a free pair of 3D Star Wars glasses with the purchase of a RealD 3D ticket.
Seeing the film at participating Alamo Drafthouse locations will allow you to purchase a commemorative all-Star Wars issue of Birth.Movies.Death, as well as three incredible Mondo-designed glasses, which are available for a limited time only.
