Fear the Walking Dead aired its latest episode Sunday night, the ninth of its second season going by the name of “Los Muertos.”

Audiences saw the return of Ofelia, Strand, Alicia, and Madison while also further exploring the apparently thriving (by post-apocalyptic standards) Tijuana community with Nick and Luciana.

Los Muertos saw some fun development between Madison and Strand but ultimately saw them cornered behind a bar to conclude the episode in true Walking Dead cliffhanger fashion. Also a mystery is the fate of Ofelia. While Mercedes Mason tells ComicBook.com that the character is off “finding herself” audiences briefly thought she took a dive off of the nearest balcony and threw in the towel on life. While Ofelia apparently hadn’t taken the leap, a handful of walkers fearlessly jumped.

Let’s not forget that Tijuana’s pharmacist claims to have been bitten and survived in a The Last of Us style twist which would rock the mythology of the Walking Dead universe if true.

Naturally, the Internet reacted to the crazier moments of the episode…

Worst. Bus. Stop. Ever.

If there’s one thing we learned about La Colonia, it’s that they don’t mess around! In one of their more common rituals, an infected man feeds himself to their “wall” of walkers. The idea is that in death, they still have a way of protecting their brothers and sisters.

@bigsexy_tote was definitely feeling the vibes on this one. Some bus stops can be pretty shady, there’s no doubt, but this is one bus stop you definitely don’t want to find yourself at.

There’s plenty of crazy beliefs floating around The Walking Dead Universe, but this stands as one of the wildest.

When’s The Album Dropping?

There have been plenty of great photos to come from Los Muertos, but this has to be one of the greatest.

In this promo photo, we see Strand, Ofelia, Madison, and Alicia standing around Strand’s almost too-new-looking Ford pick-up truck.

As @elizastongue points out, this picture looks just like the cover of an early 2000s rock album. I’m thinking something out of the Daughtry or Nickelback catalogue? So, seriously guys, when is this album dropping?

All joking aside, there’s definitely something to be said for this group of survivors. These four characters have very different personalities, and there’s a great chance the best of their group is yet to come.

New Daryl in Town?

Daryl become an instant fan-favorite on The Walking Dead when fans realized he was the baddest character on the show. Between the bike and the crossbow, it was easy to see that Daryl was not to be messed with. After tonight’s episode, did Luciana set herself up as the Daryl of Fear The Walking Dead?

@twd_geek asks this question on Twitter as Luciana wowed fans with her brutality. Knowing she needed to cover herself with walker guts in order to leave the compound, Luciana grabs the nearest walker and nails it to the wall, slitting its throat. I’m sorry, what?? Nick has made some crazy choices, but this action easily sent Luciana to the top of dangerous minds in Mexico.

Where You at, Nick?

There has definitely been plenty of potential relationships throughout Fear The Walking Dead. One of these relationships that fans have wanted to see unfold is a love between main characters Nick and Ofelia. The two couldn’t be further in their actual beliefs, but they have always had a knack for being there for each other.

Our very own Walking Dead Insider Brandon Davis tweeted his thoughts during Ofelia’s pivotal scene in Los Muertos. As she’s pondering her own existence, we were left with one thought, “Why isn’t Nick here to help out?” Madison and Strand are busy showing us that the hotel is stocked high with liquor, why not get your girl a drink?Furthering the fan hopes for a Nick and Ofelia relationship… Mercedes Mason retweeted the notion!
