Through its subversive take on the Archie Comics canon, Riverdale has made its legion of fans see things in a new light. Apparently, that carries over to the aisles of a grocery store as well.

The US grocery store Trader Joe’s recently began selling a seasonal snack mix known as Jingle Jangle. For Riverdale fans, Jingle Jangle means something else altogether, as its the street name for the show’s Pixie Stick-shaped party drug. (Which got its name from a delightfully vintage Archies song.)

As you would expect, hilarity has ensued, with fans making all sorts of Riverdale jokes about the chocolate, pretzel, and peanut butter cup snack mix. But as a representative of Trader Joe’s clarified, the shared name between the two is not intentional.

“Trader Joe’s Jingle Jangle was introduced years ago,” the rep told Vulture. “It’s just a fun name that plays off of sleigh bells referenced in Christmas carols, since it is a holiday item. It’s also a fun way to describe the sound customers might hear when they give the tin can a shake.”

Still, the tweets surrounding this whole debacle have been pretty great. Here’s a round-up of some of our favorites.
