Marvel and DC Comics titles continue to lead the charge in comic book adaptations, but they aren’t the only ones to be lifted from the page to the screen. The past several years have seen numerous Image Comics series get the small-screen treatment in successful TV show adaptations like The Walking Dead, Jupiter’s Legacy, Paper Girls, and most recently Syfy’s Revival, which debuted earlier this year. Four years after it wrapped its four-season run, one of the best Image Comics TV shows just found a new streaming home after it joined Tubi’s streaming lineup alongside its follow-up movie.

All four seasons and 49 episodes of Syfy’s Wynonna Earp were quietly added to Tubi on September 14th, though the show wasn’t included on the streamer’s September 2025 content list. The cult hit ran on Syfy for four seasons from 2016 until 2021 before wrapping with a one-off special, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, on Tubi in 2024. Created by Emily Andras, Wynonna Earp is based on Beau Smith’s comic book series of the same name and stars Melanie Scrofano as the titular character, who is the great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp. When she returns to her hometown of Purgatory, she teams up with an immortal Doc Holliday to rid the world of demonic revenants. Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozon, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, and Katherine Barrell also star.
Why You Should Watch Wynonna Earp
Wynonna Earp isn’t only one of the best adaptations of an Image Comics title but also one of the best supernatural dramas of the past decade. Drawing from the original IDW comic for loose inspiration rather than serving as a faithful adaptation, the series centers itself on an absolutely bizarre premise and owns its absurdity. The show masterfully blends Western, supernatural, and horror elements to create a completely engrossing watch that is packed with plenty of action, humor, and heart. Where Wynonna Earp really shines, though, is in its characters, such as the fierce, witty, and imperfect Wynonna and other fierce female characters, and their relationships, including WayHaught.
It’s no surprise that Wynonna Earp was well-received by critics and audience members. The show holds an average 92% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 80% audience rating. More than just garnering an extremely loyal fan base credited with helping to save the show, Wynonna Earp also left a cultural legacy thanks to its groundbreaking LGBTQ+ representation and unapologetic feminism. Although the show wrapped in 2021, it returned in 2024 for a final installment, the movie Wynonna Earp: Vengeance.
Other TV Shows Now on Tubi
The shelves of Tubi’s streaming library are stocked with thousands of movies, but the streamer also offers plenty of hit TV shows. In addition to Wynonna Earp, the streamer’s September 2025 content lineup has brought all 14 seasons of FX’s hit adult animated sitcom Archer and the complete Sabrina The Teenage Witch series, as well as Bronx Siu, Stuck With You, and Terror Lake Drive. Tubi is now also streaming select seasons of 1971’s All In The Family (Seasons 5 and 6), Community (Seasons 5 and 6), and The Steve Harvey Show (Seasons 1 and 2).
