Talk about a fantasy match up.

During last night’s Monday Night Raw, a commercial aired in Hawaii advertising a house show even that pits the face of the WWE, 15-time World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, against one of the most charismatic wrestlers to ever come from New Japan, the “King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura.
Since debuting a few months ago, Nakamura it was uncertain if these two titans of the industry would ever face off and when, but it seems that the WWE wants this match sooner than later. It’s weird to note that this big style of match up takes place at a house show so it’s currently unknown if it will be part of an NXT taping for the WWE Network or not.
Nakamura is a three-time IWGP world champion as well and one of Japan’s biggest stars. His offensive technique is primarily kicks and over the top physical attacks. Cena’s base offense is more grounded and less technical, but he has added more weapons to his arsenal in the past year such as a springboard stunner.
In our biggest dreams this would be a way for Nakamura to get noticed by a more global audience who are unfamiliar with the veteran, and so far he’s unbeaten on NXT and on his way to capture the NXT Title before making a main roster jump. Here’s the full press release below.
Monday, April 25 โ The WWE Live event scheduled for June 29 in the Blaisdell Arena has had overwhelming support from Hawaii. All currently available tickets have been purchased. Stay tuned as some production holds may be released as the show date nears.
WWE LIVE RETURNS TO OAHU JUNE 29

For the 1st time in nearly seven years, WWE LIVE will make a stop at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena on Wed. June 29, 2016. This will be your chance to see your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas LIVE! SEE: Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Bray Wyatt, New Day, Kevin Owens, The Usos, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Charlotte plus many more!
Cena has yet to return to action since his shoulder injury so he could return soon to possibly promote this upcoming match. Cena is also at the twilight in his career and with the stars of the New Era on the rise, could Nakamura go over to cement his arrival in the WWE? Cena has over come the odds before, especially returning from injuries, but he’s never faced anybody like Shinsuke Nakamura before.
This match is actually part of a double main event which features Brock Lesnar in a match with Kevin Owens. These two alone should be pure magic.
So how do you want these matches playing out? Could Cena defeat Nakamura and continue to show his dominance in the WWE, or will the King of Strong Style take Big Match John out and prove that he belongs with the biggest stars of the industry? Chime in with your thoughts in the comments below.
