James Gunn Debunks Russo Bros.Twitter Account

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has debunked rumors concerning a Twitter account supposedly belonging to Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

In no uncertain terms, Gunn says that the sibling directors do not have a Twitter account, and have no intention of ever launching one.

The unverified account in question came to the Internet’s attention when it posted close-up pictures of…something, supposedly from the set of Captain America: Civil War. The red and black material immediately led to wishful assumption that fans were getting their first glance at a new Spider-Man costume. Given Gunn’s dismissal of the account, it seems that’s unlikely to be true.
