Amy Gumenick Returning As Cupid On Arrow

Just in time for Valentine's Day comes news that Arrow is bringing back Cupid.

According to CBR, Amy Gumenick (Supernatural) will reprise her role as Cupid for the 16th episode of this season, which will air in March. They had no further details on her return.

Gumenik first appeared as Cupid in the season three episode, "Draw Back Your Bow." She's a former cop, whose real name is Carrie Cutler, that became obsessed with Arrow (Oliver Queen) after he saved her from Deathstroke. In an attempt to get Arrow's attention, she took on the Cupid alias, learned archery and attempted to be a vigilante like her idol. Later that season, she reappeared as part of the Suicide Squad.

Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8PM on The CW.

  1. I've seen all her arrow stuff, and she was much, much better as young mama winchester on supernatural

  2. Worst thing that ever happened to the show.

This is why it is great that they don't kill off every villain, the ability to bring them back. Cupid was a strong villain and a formidable foe. Look forward to her return!!!!

Jesus Christ, Cupid was atrocious, especially her insanely terrible dialog, in the her first appearance. "Cringe worthy" gets thrown around a lot, and when Arrow gets bad, I usually just lol, but this character was truly making me cringe.
