There've been rumors floating around that directors Joe and Anthony Russo shot multiple endings for Captain America: Civil War, but those rumors have now been put to rest by the film's screenwriters, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

"No, I saw that on the internet and that's crap," McFeely told Mike Ryan of Uproxx. "I read, we read we filmed three deaths."

Markus added, "This is very much the movie we've always intended on where we wanted to stand and where we wanted to leave it."

In Captain America: Civil War, governments around the world hold Earth's Mightiest Heroes accountable for their actions, despite the amount of lives they've saved. Heroes divide as Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) butt heads, and fists, while fighting for what they believe in! Catch a glimpse of the action in front of and behind the camera above.

Captain America: Civil War will arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016.
