HBO has released a sneak preview of next Sunday's season finale episode of Game of Thrones, which is titled "The Winds Of Winter."

Spinning out of the game-changing events of tonight's "Battle of the Bastards," "The Winds Of Winter" is named for is the forthcoming sixth novel in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin, on which Game of Thrones is of course based.

There was no official synopsis released for next week's episode. Even the on-screen cable programming guides are not expected to have any descriptions.

HBO has confirmed that the final episode will indeed be the longest episode ever at 69 minutes in length.

Additionally, the episode will be directed by veteran Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik, who also handled tonight's "Battle of the Batards." He previously directed the episode "Hardhome", one of the more highly acclaimed Game of Thrones episodes.
