Marvel is steadily expanding its film universe with newcomers Doctor Strange and Black Panther over the next year or so, but that doesn't mean they are forgetting about their animated universe.

Marvel will be producing a new season of Marvel's Avengers, this time focusing on Secret Wars. The new season will include Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, The Wasp, and The Vision, and will task the group with saving reality. Currently, the series is still in the middle of the Ultron Revolution storyline on Disney XD.

The network will also be bringing back its popular Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy series, which will involve a team up with the Avengers. From the initial photo, that seems to include The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, and Captain Marvel, along with Gamora, Star-Lord, Drax, Rocket, and Groot.

Speaking of Rocket and Groot, the dynamic duo will be getting their own series of animated shorts, aptly titled Rocket & Groot. It's being worked on by Passion Pictures, and being directed by Arnauld Delord. You'll know Delord's work from his previous Gorillaz videos, and you can definitely see the similar stylings in the first clip, which of course features the lovable critter overreacting just a tad to a harmless lightning bug. You can view the clip in the Tweet above.

The Hulk will also be getting his own animated feature called Marvel's Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell. The green giant will be teaming up with Dr. Strange and the Howling Commandoes.

Last but not least, Disney XD is bringing everyone's favorite wall crawler to their Super Hero Battle Royale game, which you can play in the Disney XD App.
