New Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Teaser Trailer Released

A new teaser trailer for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the final film in the Resident Evil movie franchise, has been released.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the sixth film in the Resident Evil movie franchise, following Resident Evil in 2002, Resident Evil: Apocalypse in 2004, Resident Evil: Extinction in 2007, Resident Evil: Afterlife in 2010, and Resident Evil: Retribution in 2012.

The new Resident Evil: The Final Chapter teaser trailer features footage from throughout the entire film series. Look for the full Resident Evil: The Final Chapter trailer to be released this weekend at New York Comic Con.

In Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, The T-virus unleashed by the evil Umbrella corporation has spread to every corner of the globe, turning Earth into a hellscape of zombies, demons and monsters. Now, Alice, a former Umbrella employee turned rogue warrior, joins her friends on a last-chance mission to save mankind by storming the company's headquarters located deep underneath what used to be Raccoon City. But the Red Queen knows Alice is coming, and the final battle will determine if the rest of mankind lives or dies.

Based on the Resident Evil video game series by Capcom, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and stars r Milla Jovovich as Alice, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Ruby Rose as Abigail, William Levy as Christian, Eoin Macken as Doc, Rola as Cobalt, Lee Joon-gi as Commander Lee, and Iain Glen Dr. Alexander Isaacs.

Principal photography on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter began in Sept. 2015 in South Africa, and concluded on Dec. 9, 2015.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter release in theaters on Jan. 27, 2017.
