Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt's upcoming sci-fi thriller Passengers is out of this world...literally. Sony Pictures Entertainment is collaborating with NASA in order to send the movie to the International Space Station so astronauts orbiting the Earth can enjoy the film.

The forthcoming film portrays the real-life possibilities of space travel, and the exploration of the universe. On Wednesday, NASA shared a PSA featuring Lawrence and Pratt that encourages moviegoers to learn more about the subject.

"Scientists believe there may be there may be at least one potentially habitable planet revolving around every star we see in the sky," Chris Pratt says in the video.

Jennifer Lawrence then says, "NASA is exploring our solar system, and far beyond, to look for what one day could be a new home away from earth."

In order to continue the dialogue regarding real-life space exploration, NASA JPL scientist and expert on exoplanet exploration, Tiffany Kataria, and the CEO of SpaceWorks, Dr. John Bradford, are set to speak at the movie's junket this coming weekend.

Former NASA astronauts Garrett Reisman, Michael Massiminio, and Nicole Stott are also scheduled to join Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt at the Los Angeles premiere of Passengers.

Neal H. Moritz, a producer on the film, said: "The movie is about the very real possibility of traveling to a new home around another star. It's fascinating to discover the real science behind that – to see how astronomers are discovering exoplanets and finding ways that what we imagine could someday become a reality."
