Are you a fan of The Walking Dead? Or are you someone who has heard about the show and are anxious to find out what all the hoopla is about? If you fall into one of those two categories, then you are in luck this weekend.
As part of the buildup to The Walking Dead season 3 premiere, AMC is airing a weekend long marathon of The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead marathon kicks off on Saturday, October 13 at 10 AM ET with the season 1 premiere episode “Days Gone By.”
The “Days Gone By” episode is then followed by the “Guts” episode and the “Tell It to the Frogs” episode. After the first three episodes from season 1, there is a special treat for fans at 1:40 PM ET, as AMC will air a sneak peek at The Walking Dead season 3.
After the sneak peek, the marathon continues with the remaining episodes of The Walking Dead season 1, which includes “Vatos,” “Wildfire,” and “TS-19.” At 4:53 PM ET, the marathon turns to the second season of The Walking Dead with the season 2 premiere called “What Lies Ahead.”
After “What Lies Ahead,” the marathon continues with the remaining season 2 episodes: “Bloodletting,” “Save the Last One,” “Cherokee Rose,” “Chupacabra,” “Secrets,” “Pretty Much Dead Already,” “Nebraska,” “Triggerfinger,” “18 Miles Out,” “Judge, Jury, Executioner,” “Better Angels,” and “Beside The Dying Fire.”
Since a lot of the episodes of season two are airing through the night, AMC will be starting an additional run of season two episodes kicking off at 6:51 AM on Sunday, October 14. The second running of the season two episodes during the weekend marathon will lead right up to The Walking Dead season 3 premiere at 9 PM ET.
Fans who miss the first airing of The Walking Dead season 3 sneak peek will also have several opportunities to catch it during The Walking Dead marathon weekend. The sneak peek will air at 1:40 PM ET, 7:24 PM ET, and 10:29 PM ET on Saturday, October 13 and at 2:41 AM ET, 9:23 AM ET, 12:31 PM ET, 3:42 PM ET, and 6:52 PM ET on Sunday, October 14.
