DC Entertainment has revealed their mystery Superman comic book for free comic book day. The free comic will be Superman: The Last Son of Krypton #1.
DC Entertainment teased the issue as a great jumping-on point for fans who can’t wait to see Warner Bros. Pictures’ Man of Steel movie.
The Superman free comic book day issue features the first chapter of the Superman: Last Son of Krypton graphic novel, written by Richard Donner and Geoff Johns and illustrated by Andy Kubert. The storyline revolved around a battle between Superman and General Zod and the Phantom Zone villains.
However, the biggest news is that the issue will also include a special sneak preview of the long-rumored new monthly series starring The Man of Steel by Scott Snyder and Jim Lee. Free Comic Book Day takes place on May 4, 2013.
