Even Batman needs a good night's sleep every now and again, and so do any little would be crimefighters that look up to him.

Writer Michael Dahl has crafted a story just for them with his latest book. This will be the most recent entry in Dahl's "Goodnight" series, which includes Goodnight Baseball, Goodnight Football, and Goodnight Hockey. While he's written over 100 children books during his career, this is his first in conjunction with DC Comics, so it's fitting that Batman would be the star.

Bedtime for Batman is a sweetly themed sleep time story for kids, and part of the reason they'll love it is the fantastic artwork by Ethen Beavers, who's artwork has graced the pages of DC Super Friends countless times, including Bad Weather, Big Heroes, Flying High, and Super-Pets! His art is just the perfect accompaniment for a superhero bedtime story.

"When I was a kid I ate, breathed, and slept comic books. I wanted to be a superhero, so this book is for all those kid heroes out there. Be brave, be strong, and get some sleep!" says author Dahl.

Bedtime for Batman is set to release in stores and online on August 1st.
