In news that is likely to please but unlikely to surprise fans of Marvel Studios, director James Gunn has confirmed that there will be a post-credits scene attached to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Gunn was asked directly on Twitter about a post-credits and mid-credits scene for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Gunn avoided getting specific but did warn that fans shouldn't leave the theaters until the credits were through, even under the direst of circumstances.
"All I'll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits," Gunn tweeted.

The warning seems to confirm that there is a scene after the film's credits, though it leaves the possibility of a mid-credits scene ambitious still.

Jackson as Nick Fury and teased the formation of the Avengers.
