Spider-Man: Homecoming is now in theaters, and according to the box office receipts, it is indisputably a box office success. More so than that, the first Spider-Man movie connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced the world to a brand new Spider-Man/Peter Parker actor, in the form of Tom Holland.
Right now, it seems as though Holland could be crowned the best live-action Spider-Man ever - and a lot of fans are certainly crushing on the young UK actor. However, those same fans are finding themselves in a bit of a quagmire, as they worry their affections for the new Spider-Man fall on the creepy side of the fence.
Luckily, if you're loving the sensitive doe-eyed cuteness of Tom Holland, you don't have to worry about ending up in a jail cell: Tom Holland is actually 21 years old - fully legal in every sense. As that information has been spreading, a wave of relief has washed over the Internet, as you can see below:
These fans speak for a lot of fans when it comes to the immediate reaction of seeing Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming:
The first thing I did after watching #spidermanhomecoming was google Tom Holland to ensure I didn't have a crush on an actual 15 year old.— Ashley Spatz (@ashley_spatz) July 10, 2017

This guy had a lot of fun checking out the flood of confused emotions in the audience once the the lights in the theater had come back on:
Pretty sure 75% of my theater took out their phones to look up Tom Holland's age 20 minutes into the movie.— evanxavier (@evanxavier) July 10, 2017
This fan is not just relieved that Holland is legal - she's taking it as a total green light that THE. HUNT. IS. ON.
Get after it, girl!

This fan is having a contemplative quandary about the Marvel men she's attracted to, as she finds herself stuck in the middle of young and old:
It's so weird to be at an age where I want to date Tom Holland AND Robert Downey Jr— Sabrina Danielle (@sabdaniellee) July 10, 2017
This fan doesn't actually mention any worry over Holland's age, as there is just one number she's concerned with: the muscle count - staring with the number of rows in those abs!
