At Wizard World's Philadelphia Comic Convention on Friday, WWE Superstar and star of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows movie, Sheamus O'Shaunessy played host to a couple hundred of guests for a Q&A.

With the Turtles movie releasing this weekend, questions varied from his WWE to his newly launched acting career. Some of the highlights included dodging questions about his time with the League of Nations, balancing his acting and wrestling careers, and discussing some of his favorite moments with WWE to date.

While WWE is undoubtedly his focus and priority, Sheamus hopes to further his acting career as time goes on. The wrestler shared accounts of working on Turtles, saying he would fly to the New York set in all of his down time and travel back to live events on a weekly basis. Despite being a demanding few months, he looks forward to continuing the Hollywood lifestyle.

More specifically, Sheamus hopes to join a major franchise. "I've always been a fan of the Spider-Man animated shows and the Spider-Man comics," Sheamus says, which prompts his desire for one character specifically. "I would love to play Venom. I would love to play Eddie Brock."

Sheamus believes his performance as the Spider-Man villain would be better than that of Topher Grace's in Spider-Man 3, a character which he thinks missed the mark because of casting.

Sony has a standalone Venom movie in the works but a release date has yet to be announced. It won't be related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"I would love to be a part of the Marvel universe," Sheamus says, before also revealing that he is specifically a big fan of shows like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead and would love to earn a role on either of those shows. He certainly could have been a solid Tormund on Thrones or possibly an Irish-spun Abraham on The Walking Dead.

Crossing over into television would be much more challenging than an effort in film with Sheamus' schedule. While a movie role will require a few weeks, or maybe months, out of the year, a recurring role on television would certainly require him to be pulled even further from his WWE career.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is now playing in theaters.
