Moments after he quoted the villain of The Dark Knight Rises in his inauguration speech, President Trump has coined the term for his reelection campaign in four years and its pulled straight from The Purge.

"Keep America Great."

The slogan is a follow-up to his super-viral 2016 campaign slogan of "Make America great again," and implies he believes that after only four years in office the country will have risen to his standard of "great."

"Keep America Great" is the tagline used in 2016's The Purge: Election Year, which star of the film Frank Grillo told ComicBook.com was named after conversations regarding the 2016 Presidential Election.

The Purge: Election Year is based on an America where the country removes all laws, including those against murder, for 12 hours. Election Year specifically focused on the advantages the more privileged citizens in America have on such a night.

Earlier in the day, President Trump gave his inauguration speech in Washington D.C.. In doing so, he promised to take America and "give it back to you, the people." The quote mirrors than of Tom Hardy's portrayal of Bane in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. In those moments, Bane had freed the criminals of Gotham and promised to be, "Giving it back to you, the people."
