Marvel’s Agent Carter premiered to a 1.9 rating and 6.7 million viewers overall last night (via Variety). While this pales in comparison to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premiere, which earned a 4.7 rating and 12.1 million viewers, it does beat all of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s second season episodes outside of the season premiere.

Agent Carter placed second in its timeslot, behind NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans on CBS, which brought in 2.5 ratings and 12.1 million viewers.

Agent Carter airs Tuesday nights on ABC.
