Deadpool joins Team Captain America!
20th Century Fox’s Deadpool isn’t part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that hasn’t stopped Marvel Studios’ stable of talent from treating it like its part of the family. James Gunn, Chris Pratt and Joe Quesada have showered the raunchy film and its star, Ryan Reynolds, with plenty of praise. Now Chris Evans, the star of Captain America: Civil War, has voiced his admiration for Deadpool.

“Wow…..Deadpool was AWESOME! Well done Ryan Reynolds,” Evans tweeted on Saturday, along with the hashtags: “#killedit” and “#maximumeffort.” The warm approval from Evans immediately caught Reynolds attention, and he responded, “#TeamCap.”
Robert Downey Jr. was none too pleased with Deadpool pledging his allegiance to the Star-Spangled Avenger over Team Iron Man.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
