After the loss of Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher and her mother, acting icon Debbie Reynolds, there were reports that the mother/daughter pair could be laid to rest in a joint funeral, and yesterday we learned that’s indeed the case.

THR reported that Carrie’s brother / Debbie’s son, Todd Fisher confirmed that Fisher and Reynolds will have a joint funeral and will be buried together at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills, a famous burial ground for numerous celebrity icons. No funeral date has been set yet, though early word that it will be a private event. Though a public memorial event has been previously discussed, there are no firm plans for it as of now.
