The Marvel Studios crossover film is currently filming in Scotland, but they’re planning to return to shooting in Atlanta in July and have issued a casting notice for the scenes.
Central Casting is currently looking to add some authenticity to the shoot and they’re looking to cast real police officers, firefighters, and EMTs who “have tactical experience” in the movie.
Filming is stated to take place in downtown Atlanta July 5 through 9 with a fitting in Fayetteville during the week of June 12.
While it’s not clear if any of the principal or supporting cast will be returning stateside for this shoot, it seems like the production is gearing up to film some chaotic sequences or even the aftermath of a big battle.

The stakes are being raised in Avengers: Infinity War, which is shaping up to be a global affair. It makes sense that Thanos‘ attempts to obtain the Infinity Stones would have worldwide ramifications, and the Russo Brothers seem to be setting that up.
The first Avengers movie and the Russo’s own Captain America: Winter Soldier conveyed how the superteam inspires the people around them to rise up to the occasion and help. Perhaps they’ll be building off of that theme in the new movie with groups of brave first responders arriving in the heat of the battle to help regular citizens.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality.
