Anime is known for having lovable and cute characters, we see this in shows like Little Witch Academia, or the beloved Hello Kitty, but not all characters are blessed by being kawaii. One of the best things about anime, is the over the top characters that we grow to love. But characters are not only over the top in a good way, because there is also an ugly side of anime.

Ichiya, the man with the craziest butt chin in the land, and an even crazier personality. He thinks he is beautiful and is known to not have a shirt (and sometimes pants) on in a fight to show off his chubby body. This guild leader is hilariousย but ugly nonetheless…

Dodoria, the large and pink alien warrior with protruding spikes on his arms and head. He kind of looks like a piece gum that was left on the ground and somehow grew spikes. The bright pink skin in contrast with his deep purpleย lips and eyes, along with his unattractiveย body and face put him on the list.ย Dodoriaย does shoot a giant beam out of his mouth though, so that’sย pretty neat.ย

Yubaba is not only ugly on the outside but also on the inside. She is the main antagonistย in Spirited Away, and is selfish and evil. This witch is just plain scary and unattractiveย looking, and she turns has the ability to turn into a giant crow…ย

All of the Titans from Attack On Titan are disgusting, but this specific one haunts our dreams for it’s ugly smile.ย I mean just look at that smile and dead eyes.. ughย
