Attack On Titan: Internet Reacts To Colossal & Armored Titan Identity Reveals

Today, anime fans were left stunned by the most recent episode of Attack on Titan. After years of waiting, audiences were let into the franchise’s most intricate secret as the identities of the Colossal and Armored Titans were finally revealed. The two antagonists have provided endless grief for the Survey Corps over the years as they were the ones which first allowed Titans to infiltrate Wall Maria years ago. And, now, fans have learned they can place the blame on Bertholt and Reiner for the tragedy.

Despite being soldiers themselves, the pair just told Eren Yeager that they were the duo responsible for humanity’s latest plight. The friends attempted to persuade Eren to join their side, but the latter soldier refused to buy in with the traitors. As such, the latest Attack on Titan episode ended with the Colossal and Armored Titan transforming in an attempt to kidnap both Eren and Ymir. But, after ruminating over his comrades’ unforgivable actions, Eren transforms into his Titan state to fight back against the pair.

And, if you look online, fans are freaking out over the revelation. Manga readers will have known about the reveal for sometime, but anime-only fans did not see the twist coming. If you are not familiar with Attack on Titan, then you should know the popular anime is renowned for its intense action and gritty storylines. The anime follows a boy named Eren Yeager in an alternate world overrun by massive creatures known as Titans.

These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls. When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
