The Elbaph Arc in One Piece is by far the most intense and crucial phase of the story almost three decades after its debut. The story has long since entered its Final Saga, which is all the more reason that the Straw Hat Pirates are closer to Laughtale than ever. While fans await more secrets to be revealed, the Elbaph Arc introduced two unbelievably powerful characters. Not only that, but the ongoing arc also confirmed the Shanks’ twin theory by introducing Shamrock Figarland, the Commander of the Holy Knights. As the two characters continue to gain massive popularity, Yoshitaka Amano drew their visuals for One Piece Card Game. Amano is a legendary artist and character designer best known for Vampire Hunter D, Angel’s Egg, and more. The gorgeous illustrations were shared by the official X handle of the series, which also confirmed that both characters are included in Booster Pack Volume 18, which will be released in November this year.
One Piece Has Yet to Reveal The True Extent of Loki and Shamrock’s Powers
While the series has only shown a glimpse of their powers, it’s more than enough to convince fans that they’re on a completely different level. Loki has the blood of the Ancient Giant running through his veins, so he was already powerful enough, but thanks to the legendary Devil Fruit, he can take on the form of a dragon to engulf the entire sky with his sky.
On the other hand, Shamrock is one of the major antagonists of the Elbaph Arc and the overarching plot. Despite being Shanks’ brother, he grew up in a completely different environment and became a ruthless Holy Knight. He left the Elbaph island not long after his introduction but demonstrated a fraction of his terrifying powers thanks to his sword, which can use the powers of a Mythical Zoan-Type Fruit.
One Piece‘s Elbaph Arc Is Currently At a Crucial Phase
The Elbaph Arc began in September 2024 with Chapter 1126, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the arc reached its conclusion in a few months. Instead of focusing primarily on fights, the arc focused on backstories and ancient lore. Thanks to the Harley text and the gigantic ancient mural, fans also know about the three worlds in the legends that are somehow tied to the Sun God Nika.
Following the backstory’s conclusion, the manga took an even more unexpected turn when Saint Nerona Imu arrived on the island. Imu is by far the most powerful opponent Luffy has ever faced, and he is nowhere near powerful enough to stop the villain. The situation in Elbaph went from bad to worse after Imu’s arrival, and things will only return to normal when the villain leaves the island.
