One Piece’s English Dub Confirms Crunchyroll Release Date for Elbaph Arc & More

One Piece: Elbaph Arc is nearing the end of its run this Summer, and thankfully Crunchyroll has finally set a release date for its English dub return with a newly confirmed release schedule. One Piece has been working its way through a whole new era of the anime this year as with its return earlier this Spring, the TV series kicked off a new release schedule with 26 episodes planned per year from now on. And it’s been a great way to help usher in the long waited Elbaph Arc.

One Piece: Elbaph Arc has been working its way through its Japanese language release since earlier this Spring, and Crunchyroll has now confirmed that the anime will be kicking off its English, Spanish, and Portuguese dub release beginning later this October. Beginning with Episode 1156 of the series, and even including the recently released One Piece: Heroines anime special in between, the English dub is going to enact a new release schedule moving forward too.

One Piece: Elbaph Arc Confirms English Dub Release Schedule With Crunchyroll

The new One Piece English dub schedule will begin first with the release of One Piece Heroines with Crunchyroll on October 13th at 9AM PT. It will then continue with the start of One Piece: Elbaph Arc with the English dub premiere of Episode 1156 on October 20th at 9AM PT. But while previous English dub releases of the franchise saw the dub release in batches of episodes, that release schedule is going to change with the upcoming premiere of the Elbaph Arc. And that’s likely going to be the same moving forward.

Episodes of One Piece’s English dub will be releasing with Crunchyroll on a weekly basis, and will be streaming with the service on Tuesdays at 9AM PT for fans in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. This is a big change from the way the dub had been released in the past, but that’s also because One Piece itself has made a major change to its own production schedule this year and every other year to come moving forward.

What Does This Mean for One Piece’s Dub Future?

As One Piece is now adamant to produce 26 episodes year from now on, that production schedule is going to be impacting its other release schedules moving forward to. One Piece: Elbaph Arc will be ending its Japanese language release in just a couple of more months with only six or so episodes left to go as of the time of this writing, so it just remains to be seen what that means for the future of the series heading into 2027 and beyond.

One Piece: Elbaph Arc will be returning for 26 more episodes sometime in 2027, but that’s far from all. It’s been announced that One Piece will be releasing two new feature films in the near future beginning with One Piece Film God Valley in 2027 and One Piece Film BAAD in 2029. A remake series is also set to kick off with Netflix in February 2027, and a third season of the live-action series hits Netflix next year too. It’s a lot to look forward to.
