A new, higher-resolution look at the logo for The Flash, as well as a banner featuring the show’s logo and a new picture of Grant Gustin in his mask, have been released as Twitter and Facebook accounts open up for the upcoming CW series. The series, which will launch in the fall, was planed as a spinoff from Arrow, the popular DC Comics adaptation based on superheroic archer Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow.  Barry Allen — The Flash — appeared in a pair of highly-publicized episodes around midseason and, at the end of the second episode, returned to his native Central City and fell victim to the accident that will ultimately give him super powers. They’ve followed the progress of his coma, which has seen him transferred from a traditional hospital to S.T.A.R. Labs, where technicians are watching over him. Those same technicians — The Flash series regulars Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) — are not only characters who have their own secret identities in the pages of DC Comics (Vibe and Killer Frost, respectively), but they’re also appeared on Arrow already.
