The way Grant Gustin is describing The Flash’s season finale, the upcoming episode should come with a Surgeon General’s Warning.

After promoting tomorrow’s episode, “Fast Enough,” as “heart-breaking” on Twitter last week, Gustin is now promising another potential physical side-effect of watching the finale: Gut-wrenching.
As Gustin shared in a recent interview, Barry Allen’s struggles against the Reverse Flash are far from over this season. While The Flash bested The Reverse Flash in combat during the season’s penultimate episode, the villain from the future still has a few tricks up his sleeve. When Barry is then tempted to travel back in time and save his mother, Gustin described the fall-out as “incredibly gut wrenching, heart-breaking.”
Yikes. What else might the season finale induce? Vision impairment? Night sweats? No matter what, it may be wise to have a doctor on-call when The Flash’s season finale airs tomorrow, April 19 at 8:00 on The CW.
