Suicide Squad Cast Talks About Possibility Of Justice League Crossover

Now that Suicide Squad is in theaters, DC Films fans are wondering what’s next for the members of Task Force X. Could we see the Squad encounter the Justice League? MTV International asked members of the Suicide Squad cast that question, and they seemed up for the idea.

“What’s great about all these DC Comics is that all the characters make an appearance and the stories intertwine with each other, so it’s not completely out of the question,” says Karen Fukuhara, who plays Katana in Suicide Squad.

“Well it’s all the DC world, and that’s the great thing about it,” says Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Killer Croc. “It would be wonderful to see Justice League vs. Suicide Squad. Place your bets now. I’ll take on Aquaman. We’d go underwater. We’d duke it out. Come on with it. Jason Momoa, I’m ready.”

“Personally, the Joker and Harley, I’d love to see them settle down, have some children, maybe take it easy for a while,” Jared Leto, who plays the Joker, says jokingly. He then continues, saying, “It’s fun to watch them just kind of rain a little chaos on the world. That’s what they do best, and it’s, I think, appropriate for those two to get up to some trouble.”

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Suicide Squad is written and directed by David Ayer and stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Karen Fukuhara, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne.

Suicide Squad is now playing in theaters nationwide.
