As the Batman ’66 nears the end of its run, the Caped Crusaders and his trusty sidekick Robin are slated to crossover with the Legion of Super-Heroes in a one-shot this summer.The issue will be brought forth by the Allred clan — Mike, Laura, and Lee.

Started in 2013, Batman ’66 features the likeness of Adam West’s version of Bruce Wayne throughout the cult classic Batman series of the sixties as he crosses over with various characters and teams.

As for the Allreds, there might not be a better book for them to all collaborate on.With Mike primarily serving as the penciler, his wife Laura typically teams up as colorist and the two have been widely known for their pop art style with thick lines and gnarly colors.

This particular issue — which sees Batman and Robin team up with one of DC Comics‘ oldest superhero teams — will be available digitally in June with a print version of the comic following up in July as announced by DC in the DC All Access video above.For screen caps of some of the art work, click through in the gallery below!
