Justice League will be bringing the heroes to the big screen on Friday, but before the League unites in 2017 a fan made video gives the upcoming DC Extended Universe film some vintage, 1980s VHS flair.

The fan trailer reimagines Justice League as though it were a television show on a VHS from the 1980s and the result is a clever comedic look at the upcoming superhero film. You can check out the video below.

The trailer does a little reimagining of the Justice League storyline. In the movie, the heroes will be facing off with Steppenwolf as he threatens Earth in his search for Apokoliptian Mother Boxes while in this 80s style take, the heroes are billed as "America's first line of defense, all that stands between a city and a disaster." The trailer also pauses on some more lighthearted images as well, namely The Flash's (Ezra Miller) face in a giddy smile as the team rides up to battle and several great moments of Gal Gadot's smiling Wonder Woman.

Of course, while we can't deny an 80s era television take on Justice League with the heroes protecting Gotham each and every week might be awesome in its own right, the upcoming DC Extended Universe appears to be just as much fun. Early screenings for Justice League are currently taking place and, thus far, early reactions to the much-anticipated film have been quite positive with the overall comment being that the film has an enjoyable, lighthearted tone. That tone and the film's action sequences appear to be among early fan favorites with some going so far as to declare Justice League the best installment of the DC Extended Universe yet -- with the exception of the solo Wonder Woman film.

Justice League opens in theaters this Friday, November 17, 2017.
