YouTube user Sabconth then took the footage and added Simon & Garfunkel’s melancholy folk song “Sound of Silence” and a slow zoom-in on Affleck’s unhappy mug. And that is how the “Sad Affleck” was born.

In a recent interview with People, Outlander star Sam Heughan, asked the interviewer โ€” who was happy to oblige โ€” if he and his co-star Caitriona Balfe could have some cheeky fun by recreating “Sad Affleck.”
