Supergirl season 2 has been introducing some iconic characters from DC Comics lore, including Parasite, Ms. Martian and a little guy named Superman you may have heard of. However, DC Comics fans have been excited to see the next villain coming to the show: Cyborg Superman!

A new DC All-Access video now confirms the identity of the Cyborg Superman in the DC TV Universe, and you can check it out below (at 1:25 mark).

As many guessed, in the Supergirl universe, Cyborg Superman will be the resurrected D.E.O. director Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) who supposedly died when he stopped by Kara and Alex's father, Jeremiah Danvers, from killing J'onn J'onzz.

Since J'onzz has been impersonating Henshaw in order to reform the D.E.O., the real Henshaw will probably return pretty pissed off that aliens have taken over the institution responsible for policing them. And with cybernetic enhancements (provided by Cadmus), his anger looks like it wil be a threat to Supergirl, Martian Manhunter and the entire D.E.O.

This TV version is of course different than the '90s Cyborg Superman, who was an obscure villain came back to impersonate the Man of Steel following his death. But it was clear to any die-hard fan who caught the Hank Henshaw name in the very first episode of Supergirl that the show would be taking liberties with the character.

Meet the real Hank Henshaw/Cyborg Superman in the next episode of Supergirl, "The Darkest Place" airing on November 21 @ 8/7c on The CW.
