In the newest edition of DC All Access, they included their San Diego Comic-Con interview with Barry Allen himself, Grant Gustin, who teased the Flashpoint storyline on season three of the hit CW series The Flash. After The Flash went back in time and saved his mother's life, everything about the world changes.

"Barry's the only one who knows that the timeline is different," Gustin explained. "And his memories are gradually being replaced by memories of graduating high school and college, his moments with his family, and when he realizes that those memories are replacing other memories, that's when he starts to realize how selfish of a decision this was."

It goes beyond just his memories, though. As the timeline continues to catch up to Barry, "it means he's forgetting his powers, too. He's having a full Back to the Future moment, his hand disappearing in front of him," Gustin said.

Kid Flash is a "big part of Flashpoint," says actor Keiynan Lonsdale, who gets to don a super suit during the Flashpoint event.

Executive Producer Aaron Helbing also teased two major villains for the season, adding, "one is a speedster, the other is a human. They're gonna be a challenge for Barry."

The Flash returns to The CW Tuesday, October 4 at 8pm.
