It was just revealed that The Flash‘s star, Grant Gustin, has won the Choice Action TV Actor award. Gustin was there to accept the award in person, and told fans to get excited about the show’s upcoming fourth season.
The category put Gustin against some pretty stiff competition, including fellow The CW stars Stephen Amell and Chris Wood, as well as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Gabriel Luna.
The CW series earned quite a few nominations ahead of tonight’s ceremony. The series was also nominated for Choice Action TV Show, and Gustin’s costars Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker were nominated for Choice Action TV Actress. Gustin was also nominated for Choice TV Villain for his performance as Savitar.
The Flash returns for its fourth season on the CW on Oct 10, 2017.
Running up against an evil time remnant version of yourself is something no one should ever have to do, but that’s exactly what faced Barry Allen (aka The Flash) as he fought to save the life of fiancรฉe Iris West from the God of Speed known as Savitar. Barry’s victory was short-lived, however, as an unbalanced Speed Force began to wreak havoc on Central City, forcing Barry to sacrifice himself for the greater good. With The Fastest Man Alive now trapped inside an extra-dimensional energy, and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, it will be up to Team Flash to free Barry from his own personal Hell.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Carlos Vades as Cisco Ramon/Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash: and Jesse L. Martin as Joe West.
