It’s graduation season, which means parents and their children are sharing some sentimental moments before beginning the next chapters of their lives. One dad in particular might have just taken home the prize for the most hilarious and awwwwww-enducing gesture we’ve seen in quite some time.

Earlier this week, Dylan Olivo posted a picture to his Twitter account showing the tie his father picked out to his high school graduation. The tie had a very crudely drawn picture of Pikachu on it, along with several Poke Balls. It turns out that Olivo made the tie for his dad back in the first grade, and his dad kept the gift for over a decade.

In a follow-up interview with Teen Vogue, Olivo said that his father had never worn the tie before, but had planned all this time to pull it out for his high school graduation. “I didn’t expect him to really wear it or even have it this whole time,” Olivo said.

Olivo’s tweet went viral and has gotten over 100,000 retweets and 400,000 likes. Of course, people love Pokemon and touching gestures by parents, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that Olivo and his awesome dad has gotten so much attention.
