Tweeted today on Friday morning, the tweet came with no additional text, just an image of several circles, all of them black except for one that was blue. The organization and coloration of the circles is clearly intentional, and from that brief teaser, there are a few possibilities that immediately come to mind when considering what might be on the way.
Below is the actual tweet from Friday the 13th: The Game as well as some of the content that the photo could be implying.

Jason From Friday The 13th: A New Beginning
One of the most popular theories that’s been discussed about the teaser is that it may be hinting at another variation of Jason Voorhees being added to the game, this one coming from Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.
While the antagonist of the fifth Friday the 13th movie was Roy Burns who was simply a Jason impersonator and not the real deal, he certainly antagonized his victims in the film enough to be a threat like Jason is. Possibly because of his fake-Jason status, the game skips over Part V when it comes to playable Jasons, but that might change soon.
The main indicator that this might be the case comes from Jason’s mask in Part V where a distinct difference is seen in the colors. While Jason’s mask typically has red chevrons, Part V’s had blue ones instead. Seven Counselors plus one blue Jason could very well point to a Part V killer.
Pamela Voorhees
Another strong contender for what the game’s Twitter page might be teasing, Pamela Voorhees is one addition to the game that players have been asking for since the game’s inception.
Going along with the reasoning that the color of the eighth dot is certainly important here, the blue could also be a reference to Pamela’s sweater that’s seen both in film and in-game. The sweater is a vital part of killing Jason in the game, so most players will have likely seen it by now and could easily make the connection.
It’s been questioned in the past how Pamela could be made a viable killer option since she doesn’t have supernatural powers, but one of the more agreed-upon suggestions was to either make her play more sneakily like a counselor or else adopt the undead version of Pamela seen in the movies.
Other Possibilities
While the two previous ideas certainly carry some weight when looking at how the colors tie into the characters’ appearances, there are several other ideas related to what the teaser might be referencing.
Though a stretch compared to the other similarities, players just can’t be stopped when it comes to asking for Uber Jason from Friday the 13th Part X. A super-enhanced Jason and a space-themed map additions are just too good for plenty of F13th fans to let go of.
Another theory is that it could be referencing the eighth movie, Jason Takes Manhattan. The movie didn’t do quite as well as the other installations in the series, but like Jason X, it would give devs the chance to add the much-requested Manhattan map.
