While we'll be getting the Super Nintendo Classic Edition in just a few weeks, Japan will be getting a somewhat different system with the Super Famicom Mini – and now Nintendo of Japan just debuted a new trailer highlighting the games that you'll be getting with that particular system.

The trailer highlights a number of games that were popular on the Super Famicom, including some very familiar titles, like Super Mario World, F-Zero, Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To the Past, Contra III: The Alien Wars (Contra Spirits), Super Mario Kart, Star Fox, Secret of Mana, Mega Man X (Rockman X), Super Metroid, Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III here), Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2, Super Mario RPG, Kirby Super Star, and the system exclusive Star Fox 2, which never saw a U.S. release before now.

However, there are some original titles that won't be in the SNES Classic line-up, including Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Super Formation Soccer, Fire Emblem, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, and a variation of Kirby's Avalanche. (We're still getting some pretty good games, though.)

Now, the real question is if we'll be getting a SNES Classic Edition ad to go along with the U.S. audience, featuring the 21 titles that we'll be getting in that collection. We'll see what Nintendo has up its sleeve, but, considering it's Gamescom week and all, it wouldn't surprise us if it debuted one as soon as tomorrow…or maybe even tonight!

Check out the trailer above, and prepare for the Super Famicom Mini when it arrives in late September. Meanwhile, the SNES Classic Edition will arrive on store shelves September 29th.
