The Borderlands franchise is one rife with dirty jokes, a dirty planet, and even dirtier fighting. Basically, it's perfect and for those that couldn't enough of Tiny Tina, Gaige, Zer0, Maya, and more, the land of Pandora is about to get A LOT more real thanks to the VR version coming soon. Now? We've got a sick new live-action trailer showing off Maya's badass moves once more, this time - in real life.

In the video above, we see a gamer get ready for an immersive new experience for the Borderlands franchise. As she puts her PSVR headset on, she's transported to the world of gangs, girls, and crazed psychopaths. Even better? She gets to live the dream and actually becomes Maya herself! The video was done so well - at least in our opinion - that we're actually kind of wanting a live-action show. I mean, it's the popular thing these days, right? It could happen!

According to the initial announcement over on the PlayStation blog, "This 14th December, PlayStation VR fans can look forward to the latest blockbuster experience to come to the platform with Borderlands 2 VR. Developed by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 2 VR brings the iconic shooting-looting world of Pandora to life like never before, as you virtually become a treasure-seeking Vault Hunter facing off against the galaxy's most charming psychopathic dictator – Handsome Jack – with nothing but your arsenal of 87 bazillion guns."

With Borderlands 3 rumors and leaks running rampant, this revelation comes at the perfect time! This co-op shooter is an incredibly fun ride for both those that want to play with friends, or simply those that want to go lone-wolf. Between the immersively fun combat style, memorable characters, and absolutely hilarious dialogue - the PlayStation VR version of this title will be the best way yet to throw yourself into the game and punch ClapTrap all over again.

Haven't had a chance to check out this adventure yet? Here's what you need to know about the game and what life on Pandora has to offer:

"A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op on a relentless quest for revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet."

  • Find yourself left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora as you begin your quest of revenge and redemption. Expose the evil surrounding the Hyperion Corporation and take on the perpetrator of a universe-wide grand deception -- the nefarious Hyperion CEO, Handsome Jack. (Oh, also: he's stolen credit for the opening of the Vault.)
  • Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game. Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that's your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from!
  • Share your adventures with friends both online and via LAN. Borderlands 2 features a seamless system enabling you to drop in and drop out of a campaign without ever having to restart the game. On top of that you can even take your new gear from any game to any other!
