Nintendo is celebrating one of its most recognizable mascots, and one of our favorite video game heroes of all time! No, I'm not talking about Mario. This week we're celebrating Kirby! Nintendo has posted an honorary sale to its various eShops in honor of the legendary pink puff, and that means great savings for you guys on some of the best Nintendo games you may have never played. You can find a link to the sales and deals page right here.

"It's been 25 years since the heroic pink puff made his debut, so we're celebrating with a sale on Kirby games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of systems. The included games are a great way to play through Kirby's history, from his very first appearance in the Kirby's Dream Land game all the way to last year's Kirby: Planet Robobot. Shop now--the sale ends at 8:59 a.m. PT on Aug. 8."

Below are listed all of the games currently on sale. We'll kick things off with the 3DS games, because you guys need to play Planet Robobot and Triple Deluxe as soon as possible. Let's begin!

3DS Games

  • Kirby: Triple Deluxe - $14.99
  • Kirby: Planet Robobot - $29.99
  • 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure - $5.24
  • Kirby's Dream Land - $2.99
  • Kirby's Dream Land 2 - $2.99

Wii U Games

  • Kirby's Return to Dream Land - $14.99
  • Kirby's Adventure - $3.74
  • Kirby Super Star - $5.99
  • Kirby's Dream Land 3 - $5.99
  • Kirby & The Amazing Mirror - $5.24
  • Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - $7.49
  • Kirby Squeak Squad - $7.49

Solid sale from Nintendo. The discounts aren't much compared to the types of dips we've been seeing on the PSN and Xbox Live stores lately, but they're still good enough to bring this iconic games into the outskirts of impulse-buy territory. If you only grab one, then get the 3D makeover of Kirby's Adventure. After that, Planet Robobot is the latest can't-miss outing, and we think you'll love every second of it.
