Previous leaks about a Definiteive Edition of Xbox's ReCore have been proven correct now that Microsoft has officially confirmed the special edition of the game at Gamescom.

During the ongoing conference in Germany, it was revealed that the ReCore Definitive Edition will actually be coming pretty soon, releasing on Aug. 29. Along with the full version of the base game, the Definitive Edition will also include bonus content that's yet to be released for the game.

A futuristic game from developers Comcept and Armature Studios, ReCore follows the story of Joule Adams and some trusty Corebot companions that aid her in her journey. Puzzles, combat, and customization are just a few of the components that make up the game that's now being reintroduced once again almost a year after its September release.

With the Definitive Edition being released, any players who already own ReCore will be able to receive all of the extra content that's coming with the special version at no extra charge. The content and other extras will be applied to the base version of the game via online updates, so all you'll have to do is download and patch and get in on the Definitive Edition content.

In addition to the new content that'll include the tanky T8-NK Corebot to assist Joule and her friends against the Obsidian Cult, ReCore Definitive Edition will also be receiving HDR support as well as resolution enhancements to keep it up-to-date and looking impressive. The game will be priced at a pretty affordable $20, and while the extra content is free to those who already own the game, it'll also be available through the Xbox Games Pass program soon.

As far as the exact details of both the bonus content that's coming and other smaller fixes that are being made, players can stay connected with the game's Twitter page to receive more info when it's available.

ReCore Definitive Edition will release on Aug. 29.
